About the lesson

Establishing a good left hand position is going to allow you to play with more ease and musicality. There are a lot of demands on the left hand in classical guitar repertoire so it can be a challenge to maintain a relaxed and natural position. If you do find yourself tensing up and getting yourself into contorted positions just be sure to take a moment to reset and relax back into your default position that we work on in this lesson.

This lesson is part of the Fundamentals course at the Classical Guitar Corner Academy. This course covers all of the core fundamentals that make up classical guitar technique and prepares you to undertake Level 1 in the curriculum.

Other Topics In This Course: The Sitting Position – The Right Hand Position – Nail Shaping – Practice Techniques – Your First Melody
