Diana Castelnuovo-Tedesco is the granddaughter of composer Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco. For several years now she has committed herself to making her grandfather’s music more available especially to performers of the maestro’s music. Along with Edizioni Curci she has organized to publish many of Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s unpublished works and continues to champion his music and his legacy.

    Thank you Simon for another wonderful podcast. It’s always interesting to learn background information on composers. I think it is very special, too, that Castellonuevo-Tedesco’s granddaughter has made it her prioritiy to preserve his legacy.

    Great interview, Simon! As soon it was finished I saw Segovia play the third movement of the opus 99. I will checking out other works from Castellonuevo-Tedesco today. Thanks for the inspiration!
