The Collection
Easy Classical Guitar, Volume by Volume
Each volume gathers a set of pieces from a different period, organized so you can play them on their own or string several together into a short performance. Volume 1 is free; the others are available as affordable PDFs and print editions.
Volume 1
FreeThirty pieces from the classical period, chosen to be both musical and approachable. The music sits mostly in first position with very few barres, so it stays comfortable to play while still being lovely to listen to. The pieces fall between Grades 1 and 3, and I have grouped them into ten sets so you can combine several short works into one longer performance. Provided in standard notation, with a separate TAB edition for anyone who is not yet reading music.

Volume 2
Forty pieces from the Renaissance, in the same easy range as Volume 1. You will find dances, songs, and lute pieces arranged for the guitar, mostly in first position with minimal barres and graded from 1 to 3. As with the rest of the collection, every piece has been newly edited from the original sources, with clear and instructive fingering. Available as a PDF in both notation and TAB, or in print.

Carefully Prepared Editions
Many free editions online are full of errors and awkward fingering. For these books I went back to the original sources and prepared clean, accurate editions, with thorough left and right hand fingering chosen to help the developing player, not hinder them.
Why Is Volume 1 Free?
Because I love this music and I want to share it. Giving Volume 1 away is my way of welcoming you to Classical Guitar Corner. The print editions carry a price only to cover printing and shipping.
Brand new to the guitar? These pieces sit at Grades 1 to 3, so the Cornerstone Method Grade 1 is a gentler place to begin. Then come back to these for repertoire.
